ADRC Offers Aging Mastery Kits

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the Lakeshore has a limited number of Aging Mastery Starter Kits available for qualified individuals who are 60 or older. 

The kit is a fun, hands-on experience that encourages users to embrace the gift of longevity by doing things that are good for themselves and others. Designed for those who like to learn on their own, the kit combines education with engaging activities to inspire autonomy, mastery and purpose, including exercise DVDs and practical tips for aging well across six dimensions.

This kit will become a book club, led by the prevention coordinator, that will host a weekly phone discussion for about an hour for five weeks beginning in October.
