Algoma Community Band Performs Veterans Day Concert

The Algoma Community Band, celebrating their 35th year, will perform a Veterans Day Concert on Nov. 6 at 7 pm in the Algoma Elementary School Auditorium.

Honoring the veterans will be former band directors Bill Dennee, Dave Kopetsky, and John Nielsen. Dennee will direct “America the Beautiful” with Gerry Ellis (a former Green Bay Packer running back) as vocalist.

Nielsen will be joined by his daughter, Dr. Linda Korducki, a very gifted and passionate flutist.

Immediately following the concert there will be a reception for the veterans and all concert attendees. Algoma Elementary School is located at 514 Fremont Street.
