Algoma Community Band Presents Veterans Day Concert

The Algoma Community Band under the direction of Tom Mueller will present their annual Veterans Day Concert on Nov. 11 at 7 pm in the elementary school Performing Arts Center. The band has been in existence since March 1978. Many of the charter members are still playing and enjoying being members of the band. The band members will honor all veterans, especially Marv Dequaine who passed away in September. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea. Band members will honor his memory with “Marching Home Again” arranged by Dave Kopetsky. After the concert, please join the veterans and band members for a reception in the art room. Everyone is welcome.
