Amy Frank is New Historical Society Executive Director

The Door County Historical Society (DCHS) has welcomed Amy Frank as its new executive director.

For nearly four years, Frank served as the managing director at Third Avenue PlayWorks and managed the Sun Prairie [Wisconsin] Performing Arts Center for seven years prior to that. She has 15-plus years of leadership experience in nonprofit organizations. 

“We are so pleased to hire Amy Frank as our new executive director,” said Jay Zahn, DCHS board president. “We had a number of excellent candidates, and Amy was our top choice. We look forward to her leadership as we approach our 100th-anniversary celebration.” 

Frank began her new position in late September, succeeding Bailey Koepsel, who headed DCHS from 2018 until 2022.
