Andrea Wittgens’s Music On Canvas at G42

Door County artist and gallery owner Tim Nyberg will paint to a live performance by Seattle-based singer/songwriter Andrea Wittgens at G42 (Gallery 42) on Friday, June 11 from 4 – 5:30 pm.

Nyberg was introduced to Wittgens’s music during her 2009 visit to Door County. Intrigued by her whimsical style, Nyberg invited her to his studio during her upcoming 2010 visit to the Sturgeon Bay for the Steel Bridge Songfest.

Wittgens will combine keyboards and vocals as Nyberg steps up to a blank canvas and interprets the music visually. The performance is free, though donations are welcome. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.

G42 (Gallery 42) is located in the Fairfield Building at the corner of Third Avenue and Michigan Street, just three blocks from the Steel Bridge in Sturgeon Bay. Owner Terry Ullman has incorporated specially painted pieces by Nyberg, who also created a new branding for the confectionary to appear on apparel and merchandise.
