Art Classes for Everyone

Bring friends, favorite beverages and snacks to the Artist Guild on Friday night for Bottle & Brush. From 6:15 to 8:15, local artist Jen Aldrich will lead the class through an evening of canvas painting. The cost is $35 per person (all materials included) and all participants go home with their newly created work of art.

The intermediate level First Steps Series will be focused on oils on Feb. 22, 1 to 3 pm. The class is intended for those who are familiar with oils, but are interested in furthering their skills. The cost is $30 per student, small material list available.

Life Drawing Guild continues Feb. 25, 6:15 – 8:15 pm. Artists can draw from the human figure for $40/four-week monthly session, or $20 drop-in.

February’s Winter Youth Art Program theme is birds. Intended for ages 7-12, these classes focus on a specific theme while each week a different art form will be explored. Classes are held four consecutive Saturdays in February from 10 to 11:30 am for $40, or $25 for single sessions. All materials included. March’s theme is Mixed Media Fantasy.

Open studio time is available for individuals or groups on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The cost is $20 per day or buy four days and get a fifth free.
