ArtBeet Hosts Grant Writing Workshop

At 7 pm on Monday May 12, 2008, at Clay on Steele, 221 Steele Street in Algoma WI, ArtBeet, Inc. (ArtBeet) will be sponsoring a free Grant Writing seminar by Mark Fraire.

Mark is a Grants Program and Services Specialist with the Wisconsin Arts Board (WAB) in Madison. He will be covering: basic grant writing assistance; WAB programs; WAB staff duties to artists; resources; opportunities for artists; as well as answering questions.

This is also an opportunity to get a sneak peek at the completed community clay tile project, “Life on the Lake” that Kirsten Christianson and Stephanie St. John have been working on with a grant from WAB.

ArtBeet, Inc. is the first and only nonprofit benefiting the visual and performing arts in Kewaunee County.
