Artists Announced for White Gull’s Winter Concert Series

This year marks the 40th season of White Gull Inn’s winter concert series, which has featured performances by contemporary and traditional folk artists from throughout the country.

Special Consensus is the first band on this year’s lineup, performing Dec. 6. A Door County favorite, this bluegrass powerhouse has performed twice at the Door Community Auditorium, numerous times in Fish Creek’s Concert in the Park series and at many sold-out performances at the White Gull. 

On Feb. 7, country and Western swing band The Western Flyers will serve up an unmistakably Texas-style sound popularized by Bob Wills in the 1940s. 

Cheryl Wheeler will take the stage next on Apr. 10 with special guest Kenny White. Wheeler combines humor with poetry in her folksy ballads, while White accompanies his own clever lyrics with piano and guitar.

Singer-songwriter and The Voice finalist Joshua Davis will close out the concert series on Apr. 24 with a soaring vocal performance backed by acoustic guitar.

Each 8 pm-concert will be preceded by an optional 6 pm-dinner.
