Baseball Vikings Beat Hilbert, 13-3

The Gibraltar/Washington Island baseball team picked up a 13-3 non-conference home victory Monday over Hilbert.

Of the Vikings’ 13 hits, Aaron Brey had three of them with a double and four runs driven in. Bennett Isaacson added two hits with a double and 2 RBI. Aidan Purinton had a pair of singles.

Gibraltar/Washington Island’s six pitchers gave up a combined four hits and five walks while striking out nine.

The Vikings next host a Packerland Conference doubleheader Tuesday against Kewaunee.
