Bay Ship to Christen Clean Everglades

The christening of Clean Everglades, sister vessel to Clean Canaveral, will be held Oct. 24 at Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay. The event is invitation-only – members of the public will not be able to attend the christening.

Clean Everglades is the second 5,500 cubic meter (CBM) liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunker barge Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding built in a partnership with PNE Marine Holdings, an affiliate of Polaris New Energy. The 340-foot-long vessel will use a cargo-handling system designed and developed by Wärtsilä Gas Solutions.
