Red Congo Jasper necklace by Diana Allcox.

Jewelry artist Diana Allcox will be hosting a Trunk Showing of her current work as part of the “Artist, Friends and Family” series from 1 – 4 pm on August 9, in the Gardens of Blue Dolphin House and BDH Studio in Ephraim.

Allcox, a resident of De Pere, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee with an emphasis in Applied and Graphic Design. She has enjoyed many diverse creative outlets, including pen and ink drawing, watercolor painting, weaving, and most passionately, jewelry design.

“I utilize semi-precious and natural stones, freshwater and cultured pearls, fine crystal and sterling silver in my pieces,” says Allcox of her work. “I also incorporate unique lamp work glass components as focal pieces in select designs. Various stone pendant components have been hand cut and polished by my husband and myself. Many feature unique wire wrapping designs or wire worked components as artistic elements.”

“My jewelry designs are all unique one-of-a kind creations, which express my fascination with the intricate detail, color and designs found within different varieties of gems and stones,” she continues.

Select pieces from Allcox’s Gallery Line will be shown through the Blue Dolphin House and BDH Studio, located at 10320 N. Water St. in Ephraim. For more information, call 920.854.4113 or visit http://www.bluedolphinhouse.com.
