Belgian Days Festival Is Back

The Brussels Lions Club’s 60th Belgian Days Festival is returning live this year, July 9-11. The community festival features three days of ethnic food, music and more. 

On Friday, July 9, there will be free admission for music by The Third Wheels, 7-11 pm. The gates will open at 6 pm, and food and beverages will be available. Catch the youth baseball tournament at 6 pm. 

On Saturday, July 10, attend the youth baseball tournament and the cornhole and cooyah tournaments at 12 pm. Then enjoy live music, 1-4 pm, by Texas ’55; and 7-11 pm, by SPICE. Food and beverages will be available. 

On Sunday, July 11, the Belgian Days parade will begin at 10:30 am; the Modern Day Drifters will play live music, 11:30-4:30; and the youth baseball tournament and food and beverages will continue. 

The admission is $2 for the whole weekend, and all proceeds will go to charitable causes. All festivities will take place at the Brussels Town Park, 1366 Junction Road. Find out more at the Brussels Belgian Days Facebook page.
