Sturgeon Bay’s boys soccer team recorded its first victory of the season Thursday evening when the Clippers shut out Kewaunee, 3-0, in Packerland Conference play at Clark Field.
“(Goalkeeper) Ozzy Langfeldt and his four defenders in front of him played well,” said Sturgeon Bay head coach Todd Maas.
The Clippers, who improved to 1-1 overall and 1-0 in league play, return to action Friday evening hosting a non-conference contest against Bay Port.
