• The Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership is accepting nominations for its 2013 Champions of Conservation Awards. The environmental award program recognizes and honors the outstanding achievements of any group, program, organization, business or individual in a wide range of environmental initiatives throughout Northeastern Wisconsin. The deadline for nominations is March 1. Those wishing to nominate someone can head to lnrp.org/environmental-champions.php for more information.

• The Southern Door School Board is seeking nominations for its new Alumni Hall of Fame. Any student who graduated 30 or more years ago and has distinguished themselves in their career is eligible for nomination. Applications are due by Feb. 4, and can be picked up from the district office or downloaded from the school website.
