Congratulations to Joe Korn

Some things we take for granted like a school that’s eye appealing.
A committed staff is the reason for that job from floor to ceiling.
Joe works along with the staff, plants the “cleaning seeds” that will be sown.
He says, “Run it like a business; sanitize it like your own.”

He started in food service, then gradually moved across the aisle.
Now the thought of getting things done gives him great cause to smile.
With the classrooms void of kids; some vacationing others day-tripping.
Joe and the crew are deep cleaning; a little painting, repair and stripping.

Schools are run on schedules with a calendar that doesn’t relent.
Joe finds pride in being ready and set up for each and every event.
He started work in ’82, make that 34 years this coming fall.
Off time will find him fishing or volunteering for Baileys Baseball.

And as this fall approaches, Gibraltar will be squeaky clean no doubt.
When you see the crew and Joe, give ‘em a big “Shout Out.”
