Corky Siegel Plays Art Of Music Concert Series

Blues harmonica-player and pianist Corky Siegel will take the stage at Kress Pavilion Jan. 12, 7 pm, for a concert that’s part of the Village of Egg Harbor’s Art of Music winter concert series. 

Throughout decades of performances, Siegel co-founded the Siegel-Schwall Band, was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame, and recorded with labels like RCA Records, Vanguard Records and Deutsche Grammophon. 

Siegel’s close associations with the masters of the early days of Chicago blues, as well as his success in bringing together blues and classical audiences, make him a pivotal, though inconspicuous, figure in modern music history.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door, but reservations are recommended at kresspavilion.org/winterconcertseries.
