Craig Blietz Paintings at The Paine

The Paine Art Center and Gardens in Oshkosh is thrilled to be the only venue to present Paintings by Craig Blietz on view Feb. 11 through May 28, 2017.

From his Door County studio, Craig Blietz creates masterful paintings of farm animals and rural imagery that celebrate the dignity and quiet beauty of agrarian life. This exhibition features a new body of work by Blietz, Close to the Forest, reflecting the inspiration he gleans from the serene landscapes and noble depictions of animals created by 19th century French Barbizon School artists, many of whom are represented in the Paine’s permanent collection.
