Crews Clear Culvert in Ephraim

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) Northeast Region has sent a crew to clear sediment and debris from a culvert under Highway 42 in Ephraim.

The crew will be working Dec. 9 – 12 to clear sediment and rocks obstructing drainage near Brookside Lane. The crew will also apply approximately 400 feet of erosion barrier along the highway waterfront south of Brookside Drive. The barrier consists of rocks to stem erosion from harbor water washing ashore and impacting the state highway.
