Crossroads at Big Creek Host Various Programs

The Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay will host various programs throughout the month of April.

April 1 from 1:30 – 4:30 pm the Door County Historical Society will host an “Antique Appraisal Event.” The community is invited to this educational fundraiser in which antique appraiser Mark Moran, who has appeared on the PBS Antiques Roadshow, will conduct appraisals for $15 (one per person) in the lecture hall of the Collins Learning Center. Pre-registration is required for an appraisal. Audience seating is $3 and students are free.

April 2 at 6:30 pm the Friends of Crossroads will host their April Meeting. Visitors are welcome to attend the monthly meeting of the volunteer group which supports the Crossroads.

April 3 at 7 pm, the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will host their general meeting. Dr. John J. Beck will present the monthly topic, “Astronomy Space Mission of the Month.” Tom Minahan will present the main program: “Under-Appreciated Astronomers.” Visitors are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Also on April 3 at 7 pm, the Door County Master Gardeners will host the lecture “The Year of the Forest – Door County.” This program is free and open to the public.
