Crossroads Events Surround Sucker Run, Beekeeping

White suckers are getting ready for their spawning run up Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay, and they’re the topic of the next Fish Tales lecture series 7 pm Thursday, April 11. To participate via Zoom or Facebook Live, visit doorcountylibrary.org/event or come to Crossroads.

• Also, during the 2 pm, April 13 Science Saturdays Family Program, learners of all ages can learn about pike and suckers and make some on-site observations, weather permitting. 

• At 6:30 pm Tuesday, April 16, speakers Len Arsenault, Max Martin and Mark Lentz will teach the public and Door County Beekeepers Club members about equipment and how to get started, maintain and repopulate hives.
