Crossroads Launches Nature by Appointment

Though Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay will not be offering family programs, lectures or public nature hikes for the next several weeks, it has launched an experimental program called Nature by Appointment.

Tuesdays through Saturdays starting June 30, an individual, families or two or three friends – who are wearing masks and practicing social distancing – may participate in a 45-minute, private outdoor nature program with a naturalist. Programs will start at 9 am, 10 am and 11 am each day. The topics for the first week will be planets, wildflowers or fossils. 

To make the appointment, email [email protected], with “Nature by Appointment” as the subject line. List the names of participants, ages of children, days and times when you’re available, and the program topic of your choice. Crossroads will confirm appointments by email. (Please do not call.)
