Crossroads’ Virtual Lectures Explore Great Lakes Issues

Join Crossroads at Big Creek on March 19, 3 pm, for the virtual lecture “Focal Species and Species of Local Conservation” by Gary Casper, who researches wildlife conservation, inventory and monitoring throughout the Great Lakes Region. He’ll discuss how species of local conservation interest and focal species can be determined in conservation planning. On March 25, 7 pm, Crossroads will partner with the Door County Library for another virtual Fish Tales lecture, “Using Science to Control Sea Lamprey in Lake Michigan” by Jessica Barber, fisheries supervisor with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Marquette, Michigan.
