DECA Awards For Gibraltar Students

Two Gibraltar High School students earned honors at the DECA Northeast Wisconsin District Career Development Conference on Dec. 16. DECA is a national association that prepares students for careers in marketing, management and entrepreneurship. Gibraltar Senior Vanessa Demarinis placed third overall in the Apparel and Accessories Marketing Series, taking top honors in the exam and role-play portions of the series. Senior Leo Frisoni earned a medal in the Accounting Financial Analysis Series role-play, and placed fourth overall in the series. Members of Gibraltar DECA will compete at the State Career Development Conference in Lake Geneva during the last week of February.
