Door County Art: Ritchey to Demonstrate

“Awakening Goddess/Healing the Feminine Self” by Gale Ritchey.

Door County Art League (DCAL) member Gale Ritchey will be demonstrating fractal energy painting during business hours on Sunday, October 5, at the Gallery of the Door County Art League, located at the back of the Top of the Hill Shops, Highway 42 and County F on Spring Road in Fish Creek.

Ritchey, who has been working in this type of medium most of her life, will be showing the sensory portion of her work, to give people an experience of energy and how that energy follows thought within the creative/healing process.

Ritchey says, “I like working in this medium because it brings together my life lessons to walk my own healing path and in that walk open ways for others to walk in greater support within their own healing path lessons in life.”

Visitors to the gallery are encouraged to ask questions of Ritchey as she works in this unique artform.

The Door County Art League is comprised of members who are painters, sculptors, jewelers, potters, photographers, fabric artists, and more. All types of original art produced by 38 League members are on display and available for sale at the gallery. Business hours are Thursday through Monday, 10 am – 5 pm. The gallery phone number is 920.868.2288.

The Gallery of the Door County Art League, which opened for the season Memorial Day weekend, will close for the year on Sunday, October 19. The public is invited to enjoy refreshments and meet participating artists at a reception on Friday, October 10, from 5 – 8 pm.
