Door County Auditorium Presents Grammy Nominee Ruthie Foster

Blues phenomenon Ruthie Foster is coming to the Door Community Auditorium on July 22. Foster has earned recognition from O: The Oprah Magazine, who called her “a blues powerhouse,” and the Grammy Awards, who nominated her 2009 album The Truth According to Ruthie Foster for Best Contemporary Blues Album.

Equal parts singer, songwriter, and truth teller, Foster is known for a brand of music that is based firmly in tradition but that, in the end, is all her own.
