The City of Sturgeon Bay, along with various community sponsors have scheduled an afternoon of bridge grand opening activities for the community to participate in, which will include commemorative speeches from state and local politicians and people involved in securing funds for the bridge and construction process. The following is a schedule of the day’s events:

• 12:30 pm: Radio Disney Kids Fun with music and crafts, sponsored by the Door County YMCA.

• 4 pm: Speeches at Graham Park (on the east side of the bridge at the end of Pennsylvania Street) by state and local politicians and people involved with the construction of the bridge.

• 4:30 pm: Music and festivities before the official opening of the bridge to traffic.
