Door County Land Trust Announces Hikes

Door County Land Trust announces two hikes to be held the first week of June. The Wetlands Discovery Hike at Three Springs Nature Preserve is scheduled for June 9, 9-11 am. This is a one-mile walk to the Three Springs Pond where hikers use aquatic nets to discover what is living there and determine the health of these wetlands. This hike is family friendly and free. Three Springs Preserve is located at 10442 Three Springs Road, east of Sister Bay, off County ZZ.

“With Love, From Nature: A Forest Mindfulness Immersion with Sarah Evenson of Dandelion Culture,” takes place June 12, 9-10:30 am. Experience nature’s abundant wisdom on a Door County Land Trust nature preserve. Using breath work and moving meditation, this practice is rooted in gratitude for the beautiful gifts nature generously provides. This event includes gentle hiking and possible sitting on the forest floor. The cost is $20 per person and the property is announced after registration confirmation.
