Door County Performance – Joe Jo’s Opens Winter Music Series on Halloween

Joe Jo’s Pizza and Gelato in Ephraim is hosting a spooktacular evening of music and fun on Friday, October 31 from 7 – 9 pm. Join Jeanne Kuhns, Tommy Burroughs, Lynn Gudmundsen and Patrick Palmer for some folk, blues, and bluegrass as well as a few Halloween surprises.

Door County resident, singer and songwriter Jeanne Kuhns is a passionate performer who has been influenced by folk, blues and rock. Tommy Burroughs, winner of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Premier String Player award a record seven times, has traveled from Memphis to Door County many times over the past few years, entertaining audiences with his talent on the fiddle, mandolin, and guitar.

Door County’s own Lynn Gudmundsen is a classical violinist and fiddler extraordinaire. She performs and records frequently with many of the area’s most respected artists. Gudmundsen was also instrumental in developing and organizing this past summer’s first ever Door County Bluegrass Camp.

Newcomer to the group of performers is Baileys Harbor resident Patrick Palmer, who plays the upright bass and is a student fresh out of this year’s bluegrass camp.
