Door Shakespeare Announces Staffing Changes and Additions for 2017 Season

Gary Buerstatte, Door Shakespeare board of directors chair, made the following announcement regarding staffing enhancements at the organization. “I am extremely pleased to announce that Amy Ludwigsen, the executive director of Door Shakespeare, will transition to a new role as artistic director of our organization, effective immediately. This new role will allow her to continue to bring the finest artistic talent to us.

“In addition, a managing producer and artistic associate will also be hired beginning in 2017 to address the growing need for additional staff. The addition of these positions will help Amy better execute her superb artistic vision for our cherished Door County theater.

“In making these changes Door Shakespeare follows the lead and adopts the business model of many other successful arts organizations.

“The Door Shakespeare board of directors is looking forward with great enthusiasm to another successful season in 2017 in the garden at Björklunden.”
