Door Tran Welcomes New Volunteer Coordinator

Door-Tran welcomes Carissa Mann as the Volunteer Coordinator for the volunteer transportation programs.

Mann’s first goal is to market the Countywide Volunteer Driver program. This program provides transportation to Door County residents who cannot afford the half-price travel voucher program nor have access to Door 2 Door Rides or public transit connector services provided by the Senior Resource Center and the Sunshine House, Inc.

Volunteer drivers are needed. Benefits include: mileage reimbursement; free excess auto, accident and personal liability insurance while on assignment; flexibility with scheduling; and ongoing support and training.
