Early Registration for NDCC’s Camp Cool

This year, children ages 2½ -10 will be able to enjoy summer day camp experiences at Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC) in Sister Bay. The traditional Camp Cool Program’s school-aged students will experience a theme of “On the Move,” with an emphasis on learning about and producing a weekly camp newspaper. Led by degreed teachers, Camp Cool is the perfect blend of learning, relaxation, indoor and outdoor fun.

Field trips are a big part of Camp Cool and excursions to Lambeau Field, Discovery World, Nicolet Beach at Peninsula State Park, and Chuck E. Cheese are a few of the off-campus adventures for 2015. The annual overnight trip to Camp Wabansi in Brussels for the eight- to ten-year-old group is also an exciting part of the summer experience.

NDCC is currently offering an early registration period. The deadline for early registration is April 10. Packets are available in the NDCC office, located at 10520 Judith Blazer Dr., Sister Bay. Space for Camp Cool is limited, so early registration is recommended.

Camp Cloud is the summer program for the preschool and 4K students. The theme this year is “Wacky Science.” Students from 2½-4 will learn important science concepts through hands-on experiments and exploration. For children in this age group, NDCC offers a variety of on-site visitors who support learning by bringing new ideas and great activities directly to the children.
