Ecology Sports’ Base Camp Hosts Event Series

In honor of Earth Day and in celebration of spring, Ecology Sports’ Base Camp coffee bar will host a week’s worth of events. The Base Camp coffee bar is re-opening April 18 at 7:30 am.

That evening, a reception is scheduled for the opening of the Gibraltar High School student art exhibit. On April 18 at 6 pm, the students will present their artwork in an exhibit that will be open to the public through May 4.

Tuesday, April 22 is Earth Day, and Dr. Holly Phaneuf will be on hand from 10 – 11 am to talk about the benefit of tea and coffee, as well as sign her book Herbs Demystified.

On Wednesday, April 23 join Beth Coleman, “The Garden Lady,” for tips and conversation about earth friendly gardening from 10 – 11 am.

Then, on Saturday, April 26 Julian Hagen and Jeanne Kuhns will present live music at 7 pm.

To round out the week, join Chuck Sully on Sunday April 27 for an hour of poetry and music. Chuck will also present his new book Arriving When I Do.

The Base Camp coffee shop is open daily 7:30 am – 3:30 pm and Ecology Sports is open 10 am – 5 pm. For more information call 920.854.5724.
