Edgewood Orchard Galleries Celebrates 40 Years

Edgewood Orchard Galleries celebrated their 40th Anniversary on July 3 with a pig roast on the grounds of the gallery. Quite the crowd gathered for the festivities, which included a bounty of food, painting and Raku demonstrations, live music and the release of Edgwood’s new cookbook “An Artist’s Food for the Soul.”

Irene Haberland and her daughter Anne opened the gallery on June 29, 1969. Now in its third generation of family ownership – currently under the direction of Irene’s granddaughter Nell and her husband J.R. Jarosh – the gallery has continued to showcase exceptional artwork throughout the 2009 season.
