Encore of “The Golden Age of Comedy” at Depot

New Day Singers

Rogue Theater is excited to announce a weekend of music and comedy as the New Day Singers will perform at The Depot Performing Arts Center on Oct. 17 at 7 pm, and “The Golden Age of Comedy” returns Oct. 18 at 7:30 pm and Oct. 19 at 4 pm.

The New Day Singers perform as a mixed choral ensemble. The group began singing in 2005 as part of the Peninsula Singers, a nonprofit, 501(c) 3 organization, with any proceeds from performances being contributed to their ongoing expenses. Singing an eclectic mix of music, the New Day Singers have shared their enthusiasm for singing at the concerts of the Peninsula Singers, for visitors to Door County and various other community venues.

For more information about the New Day Singers or to book a performance, contact Paul Kok at [email protected] or call 920.856.4114.

Admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted. The show begins at 7 pm, with doors opening at 6:30 pm. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be available.

The weekend continues at The Depot with Rogue Theater’s “The Golden Age of Comedy.” This show is filled with classic comedy skits from the TV show of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. It delighted young and old alike when first presented in August. Sid Caesar, Imogene Coca, Lucille Ball, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, Carol Burnett, Pat Paulsen, Archie Campbell and so many other television comedy greats will come to life on stage. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students. The Depot PAC is located at 341 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. For reservations call 920.818.0816.
