Expanding Resources

Door County’s Senior Resource Center and Aging Disability Resource Center (ADRC) have joined programs and facilities. Both services will now be available at the Senior & Community Resource Center, 832 North 14th Ave., Sturgeon Bay.

Door County’s aging population is the second highest in the state of Wisconsin. To accommodate the growing demand of the aging population, the Resource Center will offer extended hours beginning Aug. 4. Services will be available Monday – Friday from 7 am – 6:30 pm. Their satellite office in Sister Bay, located at the Fire Station, 2258 Mill Road, will also be open on Wednesdays from 8 am – 4:30 pm. Frozen meals will be provided at this location and will also become available at the Brussels Town Hall from 3:30 – 5:30 pm beginning Aug. 7.
