Featured Pet: Tunnel Runner

Meet Tunnel Runner! This three-month-old kitten was found running through a pipe system looking for his mom. We don’t know just how long he sat in the dark – lost, afraid and stuck – waiting and wondering what his future held. Thankfully, someone heard his cries, and the police were able to rescue him. Given his rough start to life, it’s understandable why he’s a bit shy in new situations and when meeting new people, but with a little patience, Tunnel Runner will come out of his shell to play, snuggle and purr up a storm!

Like all cats at WHS, he has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, plus his adopter will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam! Stop in to meet Tunnel Runner during our adoption hours. The WHS Door County Campus – at 3475 Park Dr., across from Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay – is open for adoptions Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12-6 pm; and Saturday, 12-4 pm.
