Fireworks Show at New Year’s Poppin’ Eve in Sister Bay

El Niño may be holding back Jack Frost from making ice at the Sister Bay Ice Rink, but the Village’s second New Year’s Eve celebration will pop! New Year’s Poppin’ Eve is scheduled for Dec. 31 at 8 pm at the Sister Bay Ice Rink, 2155 Autumn Court, Sister Bay.

Sister Bay is home to Door County’s only New Year’s fireworks show, and visitors may see one of the largest grand finales they have ever seen. For the best view of the fireworks, park along Woodcrest Road or Autumn Court. The Warming House will be open and selling concessions – all proceeds support upkeep of the ice rink. If the wind is right, a bonfire may be lit to ward off the damp air. Pick-up street hockey and open roller-skating/blading are encouraged.

Area bars and restaurants are open before and after the show. Come and ring in 2016 in Sister Bay.
