First Certified Picture Framer in Door County

Since its move to a bigger location last year, Artists Guild has grown in size and reputation, offering the community the full spectrum of arts involvement from supplies, to classes, to framing. They recently celebrated a new milestone as one of their framers, Janine Morse, passed the extensive exam and was awarded the Certified Picture Framer (CPF) title by the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA).

Upcoming events at Artists Guild include: Open studio time, Nov. 11 & 14, 9:30 – 5:30 pm, $20/day or buy four days and the fifth is free; youth art program, Nov. 11, 3 – 4:30 pm for ages 5-8, $25, Nov. 12, 3:30 – 5:30 pm for ages 9-12, $30, and Nov. 14, 3:30 – 5:30 pm for ages 13-18, $30; life drawing guild, Nov. 12, 6:15 – 8:15 pm, $40/four-week monthly session or $20 drop-in; and bottle and brush, Nov. 14, 6 – 8:15 pm, $35 per person.
