Flavors of Wisconsin Book Signing at Islandtime Books

People who believe there’s more to food in the Cheese State than just cheese will want to be at Islandtime Books on Sunday, July 26 at 11 am. Terese Allen, author of the second edition of The Flavors of Wisconsin, will be on hand to discuss the book and sign copies.

In this update of an earlier classic by Harva Hachten, Allen explores Wisconsin history through its recipes and food traditions. The book offers an invitation to look back at the culinary past created by Wisconsin chefs, ethnic groups, homemakers, and cooks of all stripes.
