Floral Arranging Classes at Savory Spoon

Get inspired by the beauty of Door County when Heidi Stodola shares the art of using seasonal materials and containers to create charming floral arrangements at the Savory Spoon Cooking School. Classes will start Aug. 24, 10 am – 12 pm. Visit savoryspoon.com to see the class list; each will focus on a distinctive arrangement and design concepts. Refreshments will be served. 

Stodola’s interest in floral arranging began in her grandmother’s garden. As a little girl, she took evening strolls to see which flowers were in bloom. Then, throughout her career as a flight attendant, she managed to slip into boutiques and flower shops to study the varied ways to design and display flowers. Acquiring an in-depth knowledge of plants, flowers and herbs – combined with a natural eye for decorating and design – led her to become a floral designer.
