Friends of Door County Libraries’ 2018 Holiday Book Sale

The Friends of Door County Libraries’ Annual Holiday Book Sale is scheduled for Dec. 1, 9 am–2 pm. Held in the Mel Madel Friends Room at the Sturgeon Bay Library, this event offers a chance to find gifts for all the book-lovers on your list.

Throughout the year, volunteers cull the hundreds of gift-worthy books that have been donated and set them aside for this unique event, which means shoppers can choose from a wide array of like-new books at pocket-friendly prices. Selections include fiction, nonfiction, specialty titles, coffee-table books, cookbooks, recent bestsellers and children’s literature, all categorized and easy to browse.

Proceeds from this sale, along with book sales held throughout the year, and day-to-day sales from the Sturgeon Bay lobby display and the Friends room, help to fund approximately $20,000 annually in programs, materials and activities that benefit all eight of the Door County libraries.
