Gallery of the Door County Art League Opening Reception

The public is welcome to meet artists, enjoy refreshments and peruse original artworks at the Gallery of the Door County Art League’s opening reception on Saturday, May 29 from 3 – 5 pm. All types of media are on display and for sale.

More than 40 league members including painters, sculptors, jewelers, potters, photographers, and fabric artists are participating in the co-op gallery. In addition to the gallery, league members will participate in a number of venues this season, including Gibraltar Arts Heritage Days, two plein air painting sessions at the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, two shows at the Sister Bay Village Hall, the Festival of the Arts, and the 24th Annual Juried Exhibit and Master’s Presentation at the Link Gallery.

The Door County Art League was organized in 1986 and developed to encourage community involvement in the field of creative arts. Membership is open to artists and all other persons interested in and supportive of the visual arts in Door County.
