HARDY GALLERY OPENS SEASON WITH JURIED EXHIBIT

The Hardy Gallery, 3083 Anderson Lane in Ephraim, will kick off the 2021 season with its 59th annual Juried Exhibit, May 29 – July 11. All entries submitted will be juried to determine Best in Show (the Francis Hardy Legacy Award), $500; the Second Place Award, $400; the Third Place Award, $300; the Julia Van Roo Bresnahan Artistic Achievement Award, $200; the People’s Choice Award, $150; and three Honorable Mention honors.

Artists 18 or older may submit one two-dimensional piece and one three-dimensional piece. Submission information and the prospectus are available at thehardy.org or by calling 920.854.2210. A $35 nonrefundable entry fee is required. 

The Hardy will also continue its Community Mosaic Project this year. To participate, pick up a free canvas at Artists Guild, 215 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay; or, starting May 29, at the Hardy Gallery. Drop off completed canvases by June 27 at the Artists Guild or the Hardy Gallery. The mosaic will be unveiled July 17 and remain on display through Aug. 29.
