Hardy Juried Exhibit Award Winners

The Hardy Gallery has announced the honorees of the 61st Annual Wall-to-Wall Juried Exhibit. Out of 173 submissions from artists throughout the peninsula and Midwest, five artists were awarded financial merit awards for outstanding work, and three received an honorable-mention award for exemplary work.
Lisa Dukowitz earned the $500 first-place award for “Young Doe”; Daniel Anderson’s “Ice Encased” garnered the $400 second-place award; and “Birdgirl Contemplates Nature” by Christine Style received the $300 third-place award. John Whitney’s “Beta Station 223” and “5 Squares” earned the $200 Julia Van Roo Bresnahan Artistic Achievement Award, and Sophie Perry’s “Golden Hour at Cave Point” received the $150 People’s Choice Award.

Honorable mentions went to Nancy Behles’ “Springfield,” Maureen Mercier’s “Catfished by Objectification,” and Lynn LaLuzerne’s “Bowl of Leaves.”
The exhibit remains on display until July 9.
