“I Love A Piano” On Stage at TAP through Oct. 18

On the Third Avenue Playhouse stage, from now through Oct. 18, is Irving Berlin’s I Love A Piano. This production is an all-singing, all-dancing celebration of America’s most beloved songwriter, ranging from the melting pot of New York’s Lower East Side to Vaudeville stages, the First World War, and the Ziegfeld Follies.

Featuring 50 timeless classics including “Play a Simple Melody,” “Say It With Music,” and “Alexander’s Ragtime Band.”

Conceived, written and directed by James Valcq, this delightful musical celebration of Irving Berlin features Valcq along with Stage Door favorites Katherine Duffy, Ryan Patrick Shaw, and the Stage Door debut of Chicago singer/actress Cynthia Cobb.

Performances will be held at 7:30 pm Wednesday through Saturday, and at 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $25 general admission, $10 students, and $5 child. Click here for more information.
