Island Literary Festival Returns

The 2022 literary festival included an author panel held on the veranda of the Trueblood Performing Arts Center. Submitted.

The Washington Island Literary Festival will be held Sept. 21-23, with Space for the Unexpected as its theme. The event highlights five award-winning authors – Amy Quan Barry, Brenda Cárdenas, Lan Samantha Chang, Meghan O’Gieblyn and Shelby Van Pelt – through workshops, panels, readings and more at historical and picturesque locations around the island. Inspiration is just a ferry ride away!
