Jacksonport Farmer’s Market Opens June 11

The Jacksonport Farmer’s Market will open for the fifth season on June 11. As in the past, the market will be held at Lakeside Park on Highway 57 in Jacksonport on Tuesday, 9 am – 1 pm, through October, as weather permits.

There are nearly 30 vendors participating in the Jacksonport Farmer’s Market this season. Many of the regular vendors will return, including Mike Sullivan of Sully’s Produce; Bonnie Abrahamson with Logan Creek Soap; Wayne Fay of Lani’s Herbs & Oils; Vicki Progar of Food For Thought; Tom Lutsey of Waseda Farm Market; and many more.

New vendors include Martha Bennett of Parchcraft Designs Etc.; Patsy Stierna & Paula Wendlund of Door County Natural Creations; Amy Jennings of Amy J’s Creations; Eugene Garbowski of Sugar Mountain Farm; and Sue Donohoo of Soo Hoo Artwear.

The Jacksonport Historical Society will provide a variety of food and beverages for market participants each week in the front pavilion. Also, Jerry Voelker and Dale Graf volunteered to play on several of the market Tuesdays. Voelker is scheduled to play on July 16 and Aug. 13; Graf is scheduled for July 9 and Aug. 6.
