Jimmy Davis and Friends are back at Fishstock on Aug. 28.
The five-time Memphis Male Vocalist of the Year has been a fan favorite at the concert barn for years. A mix of folk, blues, and country, Davis is respected across the country for his songwriting in addition to his vocal talents.
Whether fronting a rock band, providing a soundtrack for an Oscar-winning filmmaker, or picking his guitar around a campfire, Davis continues his musical journey and the emerging legacy of a new Memphis sound.
After Davis performs there’s just one show left in the Fishstock series for 2016, and it’s the biggest party of the year.
Eric Lewis and Friends return for the annual Fishstock Reunion Party Labor Day Weekend on Sept. 4. The flat picker extraordinaire, steel and acoustic guitarist Eric Lewis has closed the season for 18 years, making strings sing with his gang of amazingly talented friends on stage.
Fishstock features the best in bluegrass, folk and jazz music every Sunday night in a century-old dairy barn on County F in Fish Creek. All shows start at 7 pm, and tickets can be reserved in advance at fishstockmusic.com or purchased at the door.
