Kick-off Autumnfest With the Hey Hey 5k

Organizers are expecting one of the biggest crowds yet for the Hey Hey 5k on Sept. 23. 

The fun run that starts and ends at Door County Brewing Co. is the kickoff to Autumnfest Saturday in Baileys Harbor. More than 300 runners will take to the back roads, get a great Hey Hey 5k race shirt, then get a free beer and pint glass back in the taproom to celebrate their finish. 

Kids get a race shirt and a free root beer float with ice cream from Wilson’s at the finish, and get to compete for top prize packages from Egg Harbor Fun Park. Registration is open at HeyHey5k.com.

After the race, the Autumnfest festivities kick off with music, food and a classic car show at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall.
