Kids Fishing Derby

Fifty-one young anglers flocked to Sunset Park in Sturgeon Bay for the June 28 Kids Fishing Derby. Gary Nault, Sturgeon Bay District 5 alder, said it’s the 35th derby and the longest-running fishing program for kids in the state. 

“We’ve not been rained out in 35 years,” he said during the Common Council’s June 16 meeting, and that proved to be true.
